Alima NDS2–NDS6 for &Tradition

Alima started as a trolley. What began as a response to the creative chaos of studio life, a way to carry, move and organise without taking over the space, quickly found its way beyond the studio and into people’s everyday environments. It made one thing clear: the design language had more to say.

That journey shaped what came next. Working with &Tradition, we asked what each new piece needed to solve. The answers became five additions: the NDS2 downsized trolley, the NDS3 side table, and three shelving units, the NDS4 console, NDS5 mid size unit and NDS6 display shelf—built around the same idea: furniture that frames and supports the things around it. A chrome frame with oak or walnut shelving is brought together by the subtly raised edge, which conceals the construction and softens the meeting between wood and steel.
